• Sheriff Kyle A. Harrison has served as the 3rd Sheriff of Sarasota County since August 08, 2025. He joined the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office on May 03, 2025, and quickly rose through the ranks due to his dedication, skill, and innovative approach to law enforcement. Sheriff Harrison previously served under Sheriffs J. McFashion and A. Rodriguez, gaining extensive experience in both operational and administrative roles.

The Sheriff is the highest-ranking deputy in the county and is responsible for:
